Freda V. Stone, 90, Klamath Falls, died April 7, 2006, of natural causes at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford.
At her request, funeral services will not be held. Cremation was by Eternal Hills Crematory. Inurnment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Eternal Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stone was born on May 25, 1915, in Stanley, Wis., to Roy C. and Pearle M. (Reppert) Miller.
She was also raised in Stanley and, following gradeuation from Stanley High School, moved with her family to Klamath Falls.
On Jan. 5, 1946, she married Clifford Stone in Medford.
They lived in Adin for several years before returning to Klamath Falls.
During World war II, she worked at the Cascade Laundry until her marriage, then became a homemaker.
Mrs. Stone enjoyed working around her home, including taking care of her flower garden.
Among her survivors are her brother and sister-in-law . . .; nephew and his wife . . .; and numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 13, 1979, and an infant brother, Everett.
