"R. M. Adams, Well Known Rancher Died Last Night

R. M. Adams, well known rancher in the Riverview community, died Wednesday night at his home. He was 77 years old.

Mr. Adams is survived by three sons, Ralph and Vern Adams, who live on the Adams farm, and Delbert, who is connected with the Morton power plant, and a daughter, Mrs. Franklin Bernhardt of Norfolk, Neb., who will come for the funeral. Mrs. Adams died in 1908.

The deceased was born in Illinois. He came to this section in 1914 and has ranched here since.

The Davis mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements, plans for which have not been completed."

"Burial Services for Richard Adams

Burial services for Richard Adams, 77, were held Sunday evening at 6 o'clock at the Grove Center cemetery. Dr. M. R. Talley, Methodist pastor, conducted the services.

Richard Adams familiarly known as "Dick" to friends in this vicinity died at the home of his son, Vern, at Riverton, Wyo. His three sons, Delbert, Ralph and Vern accompanied the body to Creston, arriving Sunday morning at 11 o'clock.

Surviving are three sons and a daughter, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The children are: Delbert of Pavillion, Wyo.; Ralph and Vern of Riverton, Wyo. and Mrs. F. O. Bernhardt and Mr. Bernhardt of Norfolk, Nebr., all of whom attended the services. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Brown of Des Moines joined the relatives at the cemetery. All of the relatives remained until Tuesday visiting with the M. E. Crawford, Lyte Crawford, Jeigh Crawford, Ren Crawford and George Crawford families, all of whom are relatives.

Many friends and neighbors of former days called to renew acquaintance with their friends and playmates of childhood days."
