She was born April 24, 1910, in Huntington to the late Jasper Samuel and Minnie Etta Cox Sadler.
Mrs. Caverlee was a retired school teacher having taught Latin and English at Parkersburg and Huntington High Schools, a Marshall University graduate, a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Dr. C. Clifford Caverlee, her son Clifford R. Caverlee, her brothers Jasper Evan Sadler, Virgil Andrew Sadler, and her sister Frances Eloise Sadler Gibson.
She is survived by her nephews James Edward Gibson of Sarasota, FL; William Scott Gibson of Roswell, GA; and Joseph David Sadler of Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested donations be made to the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church Memorial Fund in memory of Henrietta E. Caverlee, 1135 5th Avenue Huntington, WV.
