Alberta Jane Ankrum, age 62, died at Trinity Mission Health Center on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Born September 24, 1952 in Tunica, Mississippi, to Ralph and Bonnie (Anderson) Davis. She graduated from Concordia College in 1998. She married Lyle Ankrum on April 26, 1969, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She lived in multiple states, but spent much of her life in Wrenshall, Minnesota and Meridian, Idaho. Jane worked at Lake Superior Paper Industries in Duluth, Minnesota for many years until retiring in 2001.

Jane reached the pinnacle of her career as an officer of Professional Secretaries International and will be especially remembered for her work with senior citizens. She will also be thought of for her love of the Denver Broncos, NASCAR, and cruises.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Wayne) Josleyn of Idaho and James (Catherine) Ankrum of New Mexico; grandchildren, Randy and Jessica Josleyn, Jacob and Alexandra (Lexi) Ankrum; three brothers, Steve Davis of Illinois, Carl Davis of Connecticut, David Rowland; seven sisters, Sandra Davis of Illinois, Terry Catanio of California, Vicki Masters of California, Verna Davis of Illinois, Carol Suhling of Illinois, Tammy Aguilar of California, and Rena Brown of Oklahoma. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Ankrum, and both parents.

Services will be held at a future date and will be at Silverbrook Cemetery, Wrenshall, Minnesota.
