Her full name appears to have been "Charlotte Emma" (or "Emma Charlotte"), but as an adult, she consistently used "Emma."

Her death certificate erroneously lists birth year as 1883, but by the censuses, she was clearly born ca 1863. (Her brother, John, appears to have been the informant).
