Agnes B. Martino, 93, of Roseto passed away Sunday August 9, 2015, in the Slate Belt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Bangor. Born May 17, 1922 in Roseto, a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Vitale Angelini. Her beloved husband, Nicholas S. Martino Sr., passed away in 2008.
She was last employed by the former Perfect Shirt of Roseto and also was part-owner of the former Aggie Fashions of Roseto. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Roseto and was a former member of the Ladies Sodality and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Martocci-Capobianco American Legion Post 750 of Roseto.
She is survived by a son Nicholas and his wife Cathy Martino of Roseto and a daughter-in-Law Angela Martino of Roseto and Five grandchildren; Alissa Carver and her husband William, James Martnio, Nicholas and his wife Melissa Martino, Katie Lynn Martino and Olivia Martino and Five Great grandchildren; Brady Carver, Jeremy Carver, Luke Carver and Gina Martino and Nicole Martino. Her sons Salvatore and Joseph and sisters; Lucy Rizzo, Jennie Aversano, Rose Tognoli, Mary Capozzollo and Magdeline Angelini and brothers; Vincent, Louis, Monsignor Agnello Angelini and Charles all died earlier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 13, 2015 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Third & Garibaldi Avenues , Roseto. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the Fiore Funeral Home www.fiorefuneralhome.com, 230 Market Street, Bangor. Burial will be in the New Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Roseto.
