Stanley Vernon Earley was born in Northfield, Nova Scotia, Canada, September 11, 1892, and died at Miles City, MT, Monday May 27, 1935, from blood poisoning.
Mr Earley entered service September 2, 1917, at Powderville, MT, and served with the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during the World War. He was honorable discharged at Fort D A Russell WY, August 25, 1919.
Mrs Earley preceded him in death in November 1931, and is buried in the Terry cemetery. He leaves one son, Robert Lee Early, aged 9, and one daughter, Sue Rose Earley, age 6, and three brothers and sone sister, Grant Earley, Ipswich Mass., Lester E Earley, Powderville MT, and Mrs Pearl Phillips, Enfield NH.
Mr Earley lived on a ranch near Sutherland, in Custer County, MT, until his passing, and his untimely death is mourned by the entire community.
