Roger Warren Chapline, 84, of Westminster, died Friday, Jan. 11,2002, at his home.
Born March 8,1917, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Clara Pinder Chapline. He was the husband of Pearl Brady Schafer Chapline, whom he married in 1970. He was a corporal in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a graduate of Christian Kings College, Pennsylvania, where he was the producer of the college radio programs. He was a claims investigator at the Social Security Administration for 30 years. After retirement, he worked as a delivery driver for PAPA, Westminster. He was a member of Westminster Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir until his illness. He enjoyed singing religious songs and had sung at many churches in addition to his own.
