Lamont C. "Milky" Baver, 80, of West Brunswick Township, died in his residence Friday.
He was the husband of Gail M. Frankenstein Baver, to whom he was married for 59 years.
Born in West Brunswick Township, Aug. 8, 1934, he was a son of the late Herbert F. and Alma Moyer Baver.
Milky was a self-employed plasterer, dry waller and concrete worker for many years. He was also a self-employed, life-long farmer. He was a member of D.R. Schall Hunting Camp, Centre County. Lamont was a member of Red Church, Orwigsburg.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Baver; and two infant sons, Lamont and Curtis.
In addition to his wife, Lamont is survived by three children, Gregory M., husband of Karen Baver, Auburn, Lisa A., wife of David Panchari Jr., Auburn, and Scott A. Baver, Orwigsburg; two grandchildren, Madeline and Gavin Panchari. He is also survived by two sisters, Lucille A. Baver, Monroe, Conn. and Justine Vogel, Mooresville, North Carolina; one brother, Brian D., husband of Kathleen Baver, Auburn; and his beloved pet, Tommy the Cat.
Funeral services was held at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial was in Schuylkill Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
