Doris worked for JCPenney in Albion and the Blue Bird Dress Shop in Columbus for 30 years before retiring in 1982. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Eagles Auxiliary, and bowled for several years. She enjoyed baseball games, flowers, and her dog Trixie.
