The death of Louisa Raymond, widow of the late Hiram Raymond, occurred at her home, in this village, on Sunday last. The deceased was one of our oldest and most highly respected citizens, a native and all time resident of the village. She was the daughter of Thomas and Rachel McClure, and was born on the McClure homestead near the entrance to Havana glen , October 22, 1S22, and therefore, in the eighty-third year of her age . Her husband died August 27, 1890. Mrs. Raymond was the mother of a large family of children, only three of whom survive, Mrs. Sarah Russell Raymond, of New York city; Delos Raymond , of Lindley , N.Y., and George Raymond, also of New York city . Besides these she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Rachel Butler, of St. Joseph, Mo., and Mary and Cynthia, of Chicago. Sh Mrs. Raymond was devoted to her home. The interment was in the family plot in Montour cemetery .
