Mrs. Bertha Hawver
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Penwell Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Bertha M. Hawver, 1023 Green, who died Friday evening at the Hillhaven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Hawver was born Feb. 16, 1885, in Oakland. She had spent her entire life in the original town of Oakland, which is now a part of Topeka.
She was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church.
She was married July 7, 1903, to Ira L. Hawver in Topeka. He preceded her in death June 7, 1967.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Faye Fox, 832 N. Michigan; two sons, Melvin W. Hawver, 1023 Green, and Ira M. Hawver, 1634 Collins; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Topeka Cemetery.
