Marion Craft, 88, died Saturday.

Marion Jackson Craft, 88 died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital, Ottumwa, where he had been a patient for 10 days.

The son of Stanley and Adelaide Porter Craft, he was born July 16, 1880 at Hedrick, here he had lived all his life. He was a retired employee of M. and St. L. Railroad. He married Catherine Kriese April 29, 1903 at Hedrick. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Carl of Hedrick, four daughters, Inez Craft, Mrs. Louise Hankammer, and Mrs. Joan Norris, all of Hedrick and Frances Craft of St. Paul, Minnesota, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Minnie Clark of Ottumwa died Monday, July 22, 1968. Funeral services were at the Fremont Funeral Chapel Monday with the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial was in Brooks Cemetery.
