Herminia M Oncheck of Timberline Road, Lehigh Township, died Saturday afternoon in St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown Campus. She was the wife of the late Alex F Oncheck, who passed away in 1994. Born in Palmerton, Herminia was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Pulzer) Shaffer and adopted daughter to the late John and Wilma Cser. Herminia was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville for many years. she was also a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She worked at home on on Oncheck family farm for most of her life. Survivors: daughters, Margaret F, wife of Robert Morgan, and Patricia Jacoby, both of Walnutport, Elizabeth, wife of Larry Sparrow, of Freeport, Ohio; sons, Alex J and Priscilla Oncheck and James and Mary Oncheck of Walnutport; grandchildren, Keith, Leonard Jr., Thomas, Lisa, John, Debbie, John, Renee, Carla, Stephanie, Heath, Larry and Patty; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs Julia Harkins in Virginia. She was predeceased by a son, Leonard R Sr., in 1996. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 7 p.m. Wednesday, St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 1152 Oak Road, Walnutport 18088. Call 5-7 p.m. in the church. Interment, private in the parish cemetery. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Contributions: Dream Come True, c/o the funeral home.
