She was born June 2, 1938 in Winfrey Valley, Arkansas, the daughter of Aaron and Velma Hayes Pense.
She was preceded in death by her father Aaron Pense and brother, Tommy Pense.
She was an employee of Standard Register Company, retiring after 35 years. She enjoyed quilting, baking, crocheting, the outdoors and family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Johnnie Philpott; her mother, Velma Pense of Winfrey Valley, two brothers, Jim Pense of West Fork and J. W. Pense of Greenland and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at Living Faith Church in Fayetteville followed by burial at Farmington Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
