DEATH OF ALBERT BANDY
Carthage Man 48, Is Victim of Tuberculosis
Albert Bandy, 48, 217 North Maple St, formerly janitor of the First Baptist Church, died at 1 o'clock this morning at the tuberculosis hospital near Webb City. He had been ill since last August, when he was stricken with influenza.
Surviving are his wife, Edna, to whom he was married May 17, 1912 at Wentworth, MO., four daughters and two sons, also his parents, two sisters and two brothers and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, awaiting word from relatives from a distance, but services will be held at the Knell service home and burial will be in Van Buren Cemetery, seven miles south of Sarcoxie. The Rev. A. A. DuLaney, pastor of the First Baptist Church will be in charge.
Mr. Bandy was a deacon in the First Baptist Church. He was born January 1, 1890 at Wentworth, later moved to Carl Junction and came to Carthage seven years ago.
Survivors besides Mr. Bandy are Mrs. Myrtle McManis, Mrs. Alta Richardson, Mrs. Mabel Owen, all of Carthage, and Betty Ruth Bandy, at home, daughters; James Bandy and Herschel Bandy, at home, sons; the parents, Mr. and Mrs,. J. M. Bandy, Sarcoxie; Mrs. Pearl Cobine, Sarcoxie and Mrs. P. E. Busby, Webb City, sisters; Hugh Bandy, Carl Junction and Ralph Bandy, Gruver, Texas, brothers.
