F, September 3, 1862, to serve three years; mustered in as first lieutenant, December 28, 1864; mustered out with company, June 30, 1865, at Clouds Mills, Va.; commissioned first lieutenant, November 19, 1864, with rank from August 29, 1864, vice Alford killed.

Ephraim Rigdon died at Belmont last Wednesday and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship. He was the youngest son of Sidney Rigdon and was born at Nauvoo, Ill., in 1840, removed to Friendship in 1847, where he lived till heis enlistment in the army in 1862. He rose to be 1st Lieutenant in the 1st N.Y. Dragoons. He leaves a wife and one son.
