Mrs. Hugo Balk, 44, of Eagle Lake, died at St. Joseph’s hospital Sunday afternoon.
She was born in Mankato on June 11, 1921 and has lived in this area since.
She is survived by her husband, 13 children, Judith, Daniel, Susan, Michael, Mary, Hugo Jr., Cynthia, Christine, Peter, Teresa, Paul, Jeffrey and Richard, all at home; four brothers, Leonard, Roman and Richard Miller of Mankato, and John of Ojai, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. George Stanfest of Mankato.
Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. with requiem mass at 6:30 p.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may visit until 6 p.m. Tuesday at Landkamers.
