The eldest of 12 children of Lucien and Loretta (predeceased) Paquette.
Dennis was born and raised in Middlebury and attended St. Mary's Catholic School, Middlebury Union High School and the University of Vermont.
A skilled craftsman, he owned and operated Paquette Construction in Middlebury for 30 years.
His interests included spending time with his loving wife and their dogs, skiing, hiking, kayaking and riding his Harley. He especially loved spending time at their camp in Goshen.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, 2 sons, 2 stepsons. He's also survived by his father, Lucien Paquette; 4 sisters, 7 brothers, and many grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 7 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 326 College Street, Middlebury, VT.
