Cecil C. (Clovis) Sturm, age 90, a Moon Township resident since 1954, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Wadestown, WV, on April 17, 1925, to the late Benjamin and Eva (Hennen) Clovis. On February 8, 2014, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband whom she married on July 3, 1948, Dale R. Sturm.
Loving mother of Debra Sturm of West Mifflin, Danny Sturm of Rochester, MN, and the late Allen Dale Sturm, she was the cherished grandmother of Wendy Meli (Dennis), Pamela Weaver (Ray), Carrie Stewart, Jamie Ward (James) and Jason Sturm (Jenni); proud great-grandmother of Janine and Dillon Weaver, Nolan and Nyle Ward, Olivia and Brody Sturm and Taylor Meli, and sister of the late Freda Sturm and Kathryn Barnes.
Cecil was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. For 23 years, she was a secretary for Allegheny Pipe and Supplies, retiring in 1985.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at COPELAND MOON TOWNSHIP FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road, www.copelandfuneralhomes.com, where a service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Pentress, WV.
