Vanceburg, Ky. - Chester Ray Redden, 76, of Vanceburg, died Monday at a nursing home in Bucyrus, Ohio.
He retired in 1960 from Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad and was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a son, Rodger, and a daughter, Sandra Joyce Conley, both of Bucyrus; a sister, Hazel Marie Campton of Morehead; and three grandchildren.
Service is to be 2 p.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Thomas Mullins officiating, and interment in Lewis County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and until the service Friday at the funeral home.
