Services for Kenneth Burgoon, 48, 112 S. Elm, who died of carbon monoxide poisoning Aug 8, will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday at Robson-Towner Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. William Weber will officiate.

The Sheriff's Department reported that the death was an apparent suicide.
Burgoon was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Franklin County, the son of David and Gertrude (Poole) Burgoon. He was a lifetime Franklin County resident. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. He was employed as a siding applicator by Andy's Siding Company.

Burgoon was a life member of the VFW Post No. 5901, Ottawa and he attended Calvary Baptist Church.

On April 9, 1966, he married Dorothy J. Croan. She survives.

Other survivors are five sons, Michael and Jason Burgoon, both of the home; David Burgoon, Sunrise Trailer Court; Kenneth A. Burgoon, 410 W. 2nd, and Larry Burgoon, Ottawa RFD 1; a daughter Ruby Burgoon, of the home; five brothers, Joe, David and Raymond Burgoon, all of Pomona; Bert Burgoon, Scranton, and Clarence burgoon, San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Malloy, Valley Springs, Calif., and Leta Gonce, 504 W. 10th, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at the funeral home from Saturday until time of the service.
