MILLEDGEVILLE - Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Brantley, 80, will be conducted 2P.M. Monday, July 24, 2006 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home and Crematory, Milledgeville, GA. Entombment: the Mausoleum at Baldwin Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, GA. -Mr. Ralph Brantley of Macon passed away early Saturday morning in a Macon healthcare facility. Mr. Brantley was a native of Hancock County, but after having grown up in Washington County, made his home in Milledgeville for most of his life, before recently moving to Macon. He was the son of the late Mr. Fred Brantley and the late Mrs. Mary Parker Brantley. Mr. Brantley was retired as a self-employed Truck Driver and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII, and having been a POW in Germany. -Survivors: wife Mary Helen Brantley of Macon; two sons, Greg "Steve" (Elizabeth) Brantley of Macon, Jeff Brantley of Milledgeville; three daughters, Faye (Dennis) Head of Cookeville, TN, Judy (Donald "Duck") Shipp of Milledgeville, Norma Brantley Brown of Macon; four stepchildren, Charlotte Powell of Covington, Stephanie Knowles of Milledgeville, Jackie Etheridge of Milledgeville, David English of Milledgeville; ten grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. -The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday evening, July 23, 2006 from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. -Those who wish may view and sign the guestbook online at www.williamsfuneralhome.net or at www.williamsfh.net -Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville is in charge of arrangements.
