SHARON - Alpheus 'Chicken' Crockett, 86, former employee of Sharon Lumber Co., died of heart disease Saturday at the Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Gardner Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Crockett, the husband of Helen Crockett, also leaves a sister, Jessie Roberts of Sharon.
