Gary & me go way back to grade school. He was a year behind me in school but we attended grade, Junior & Senior High school together. On March 14, 1975 we joined the Marine Corps together on the "Buddy Platoon" program to leave for boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot at San Diego, CA on April 14, 1975 together. Gary decided to leave by the end of March and I waited until April 14th. That was the end of the "Buddy Platoon" for us. We kept up with each other during our 4 yrs. in the Corps and for years after and as time rolled by, our meetings/visits became fewer and fewer. I can't honestly say when the last time was that we seen each other and talked but I will never forget you my friend and brother in arms... Semper Fi!
