Mrs. Macumber Is Dead at 91
Mrs. Isaac Macumber, 91, of 726 W. 9th St., Davenport, died at 8:10 pm Tuesday in Mercy Hospital.
The former Ruby Walker, she was born Sept. 21, 1863, in Elmira, N.Y. and was married to Mr. Macumber May 12, 1844. The couple lived in Maquoketa most of their married life until the death of her husband Oct. 21, 1941. A son, William, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Emma Macumber, Davenport; a niece, Mrs. Ruby Myatt, Bettendorf; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Runge Mortuary.
