Mrs. Jeanette Jones Weeks, 81, widow of the late Mr. Leslie Jones and the late Mr. Gene Weeks, entered into rest on Saturday, August 1st, 2015.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Otis Shearfield Walker Sr. and Libertas Bonnett Walker. She was a graduate of Aiken High School, member of Mid-Valley Baptist Church and retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass. Mrs. Weeks was an avid lover of all animals and flowers and had a passion for gospel music.
In addition to her husbands and parents, family members include daughters, Patron Lynette Blanchard and her husband, Vernon, North Augusta, SC, Zoeanne Jones, North Augusta, SC and Leslie Randall and her husband, Tim, Aiken, SC; step-children, Mary Florence Jones, Columbia, SC, Rachel Smalley and her husband, Donald, Prosperity, SC and Keith Weeks, White Pond, SC; siblings, Joan Sharpton, Montmorenci, SC and the late Otis S. Walker, Jr., grandchildren, Jeffrey Black, Jupiter, FL and Melissa Black, Knoxville, TN; five step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville SC.
