Seeley I. Finch was the younger son of Ira Allen Finch and M. Ardell Eddy. About 1915, he married Bertha Pickett, and they had one child, Ira Seeley Finch, born 20 February 1916. Seal studied dentistry in Chicago, Illinois and later set up his practice in Perry, Shiawassee County, Michigan. He died suddenly of pneumonia at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan on 20 January 1924.
