MRS. FAYE BROWN
Mrs. Faye Marie Brown, 73, of 523 Pine Street, Crooksville, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday (July 12) at Good Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.
Born Aug. 5, 1894, at Crooksville, she was a daughter of Charles and Mary Lavina Coulter Allen.
She was a member of Crooksville EUB Church.
Surviving are her husband, Asa; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Baylor of Gallipolis and Mrs. Dorothy Teagarden of 452 Adair Avenue, Zanesville; three sons, Dean and Asa Jr. of Crooksville and Charles of 808 Luck Avenue, Zanesville; a sister Mrs. Nellie Pyle of 1252 Merose Avenue, Zanesville; a brother, Melford Allen of Crooksville; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Three sons, Melford, Floyd and Marvin, a daughter, Nina, and a sister are deceased.
The body was taken to Fred L. Cannon and Sons Funeral Home at Crooksville where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. William Alvey officiating. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.
