Gladys Archer Fear Johnson Passed away peacefully at home 7/24/2015, just shy of her 96th birthday. She was born 8/4/1919 in Oklahoma. Daughter of Anna and Harvey Archer, sister of Lavern, Rose and Bill. Graduated Puyallup HS class of 1939. Moved to Tacoma in the early 1940's, married Eugene Fear, had two sons Ron Fear a famous mountain climber (1943-1973) and Dan Fear. She worked at many jobs, including B&F Shoprite, she retired as a nurse at Tacoma General where she worked for many years. She believed in honesty, working hard and doing things correctly. She enjoyed the Puyallup Fair and Daffodil Parade. Later in life she married Ron Johnson and also took care of him for 16 years with ALS. She was active in church and community. She loved life and really appreciated it and was blessed by many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
