John L. Dickson, son of William Bratton Dickson [1805-1890] and Hephzibah "Hepsie" Lucas McGee 91809-1896 was a Confederate Soldier for South Carolina in the U.S. Civil War. He died at the hospital in Manchester, Virginia. Manchester consolidated with Richmond, VA in 1910.
