JEFFERSONVILLE Mrs. Laura Jennings Scott, 74, Hillcrest Nursing Home, died there Sunday. She was a native of Burkesville, Ky., and a member of the First Church of God. Survivors include her husband, George Scott; five sons, Calvin and Hubert Scott, both of Louisville, Sellie Scott of Sellersburg, Thomas Scott of Paoli and Howard Scott; four daughters, Mrs. Hall Young of Louisville, Mrs. Josie McCarol of Buffalo, Ky., Mrs. Roger Harvey of Burkesville and Mrs. Ruby Pierce of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Polston and Mrs. Clara Harvey, both of Clarksville; a brother, Godfrey Jennings of Clarksville; 30 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scott Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
