Dean was born on October 1, 1932 in Tampico; the son of Clarence Harold and Berna Mae (Dronenberg) Winchell. He is a United States Army Veteran, serving our country in the Korean War. Dean married on January 31, 1953 in Tampico. He was employed by RBW for 30 years, retiring in 1994. Dean was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling and the Sterling American Legion, Post #296. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Gene Winchell and brother in law, Delbert Hepner.
