Sarah 'Elizabeth' YORK is the fist born child of three children born to James YORK, Sr. and his wife, Sarah Aletha WRIGHT in Randolph County, North Carolina.
Sarah 'Elizabeth' YORK age twenty three married in 1798 to David VESTAL age twenty four. They named most of their children after traditional familiar York family names. Apparently Sarah 'Elizabeth' YORK age forty died prematurely due to complications from the child birth of their eighth child. It is believed neither child nor mother survived the ordeal in 1815.
