Tootie was the youngest child born to "J.R." and Lizzie Andrews on Nov. 27, 1922. She passed away on March 26, 2005. She is survived by her sister, Freda Anderson; sons, John [Albert DeHaven], Charlie, and Don DeHaven; daughters, Sue Brohammer and LuAnn Creed; step-children, Rayne, Debbie, Becky, Kim, Mark, and Shelly; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John DeHaven and Ray Mertes. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John's Hospice or Catholic Campus Ministries, where she attended Mass.
