Durig, Richard F., 89, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his wife Grace Durig. Survived by his sister Donna Wood; nieces Tracy Schoby and husband Rick, Jeri Wood and husband Dan Herring; close friend Jo Ferguson. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII and retired from civil service at WPAFB as an Electrical Engineer. He was a member of the Beavercreek Senior Center and the Beavercreek Historical Society. He also was a member of the Xenia Oldtimers Club. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, August 3, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Interment Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM -12 Noon Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beavercreek Senior Center or Honor Flight in his memory.
