Della Harris Lykins, age 80, of Fairborn, OH went home to be with our Lord April 15, 2008. She was born July 4, 1927 in Lewis County, KY to the late Lacy and Bessie (Hobbs) Harris. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Della was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Leonard Lykins; son Billy Ray Lykins; brothers Arthur (Kathryn) Harris, Daniel Boone (Inez) Harris, Val (Lovene) Harris, Haywood (Opal) Harris; sisters Mae (Woodroe) Ginn, Verena (William) Cushard; brothers-in-law Joe Cushard and Walter Morgan.
Della is survived by her children Everett (Shirley) Lykins, Bessie (Rex) Carter, Helen (the late Allen) Osborne; grandchildren Eddie (Rowena) Lykins, Charmin (Don) Neece, Tammy Minehart; great-grandchildren Amy, Jessie, Brandy, Bobby, Devon, Elishia, Sarah, Emily; great-great-grandchildren Taylor, Leah, Hannah, Jacob, Hailey, Areana, Hayden, Kaitlyn, Austin, Mackenzie; sisters Sarah Cushard, Artie Morgan; special friend Judy Smith; and many nieces; nephews; and friends.
The family will receive friends April 18, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. The funeral service will be April 19, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
