At Rest.
At 4 p.m. yesterday, all that was mortal of Mrs. A. Herpich winged its way to that region whence no traveler ever returns. After weeks of patient suffering in which no murmur was heard from the sufferer, the spirit took its flight and is now safely resting in the arems of the One who gives and takes alike from the poor and the rich.
Mrs. Herpich had passed the 58th milestone on the path of life and had just reached beyond the point where the shadows fall the other way. Growing weary of her burdens she laid down, used it for a pillow and sank into that dreamless sleep which knows no waking.
A kind and loving mother ever willing and ready to help the needy and lift the burden from the shoulder of a less fortunate creature, she will be missed by the score of loving friends, husband and children that knew her.
The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Parker of the Baptist church, at the residence of the deceased, 1318 South Fuller street, tomorrow at 2 p.m.
