He was born Tuesday, July 16, 1940 at Location Road, St. George, WV, a son of the late Junior Howard and Daisy Mae Wotring Nine.
He had never married.
Surviving are six brothers, Robert Nine of Location Road, Nick Nine and wife Delores of Hambleton, Ronald Nine and wife Darlene of Bruceton Mills, Luther Nine and wife Reva of Hambleton, George Nine and John Nine, both of Location Road; six sisters, Margarite Nine, Wanda Nine and Shirley Nine, all of Location Road, Sharlet Lipscomb and companion, Von Rodeheaver of Kingwood, Betty Peterson and husband Curt of Illinois, and Mary Nine of Location Road; one brother in law, John Curtiss of TX and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are two sisters, Jane Ellen Nine Curtiss and Beverly Kay Nine.
He attended the one room Fairview School on Location Road.
He liked to read, listened to the football games and watch westerns of TV.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed working on the Farm.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Sunday from 5 to 8 PM.
Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:30 AM.
Rev. Pat Cassidy will officiate and interment will follow at the Limestone Cemetery at St. George, WV.
