LOLA HATT BOYER
HAMBURG, Iowa—Services for Lola Hatt Boyer, 67, of Bluffdale, Utah were conducted Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Crawford and Reeves Mortuary in Tabor, Iowa. Ron Forney officiated.
Burial was in Tabor.
Mrs. Boyer died Saturday, Jan. 28 in the Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, Iowa.
She was born Oct. 12, 1916 in Bluffdale to Angus and Goldie Casper Hatt. She graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1936.
Mrs. Boyer attended schools in Rock Springs and also attended nursing school at Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. She married Carl Boyer Dec. 31, 1939 in Rock Springs. She was a former resident of Reliance who moved to Tabor, Iowa in 1954.
Survivors include her husband, Carl R. Boyer, of Tabor; one son, David Boyer of Cheyenne; one daughter, Teri Peterson of ARimo, Idaho; one brother, Angus (Bud) Hatt of Rock Springs; three sisters, Elaine Ross of Claremont, Calif., Elda Monteith of Portland, Ore., and Delores George of Alameda, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Lena U. Hatt, and a niece, Linda Ribovich of Rock Springs; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Angus Hatt; a sister, June Sullivan; and a brother, Allen Hatt.
