Linda Jean Christensen 67 of Guilford passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends Friday July 24 2015.

Linda was born April 11, 1948 to Victor and Velma Seward.

She spent her childhood growing up in the Walton, Sidney Center area. As a young adult she enjoyed softball, bowling and spending time with friends. She met her husband Arthur and married in 1977 and together they raised a family. Many memories and friends were made at the Rockdale Hotel and the family dairy farm during their years there. Linda was well known for her cooking; whether it was weekend parties at their barn, or large family events. Linda loved flower gardens, hummingbirds, dinner with friends and family and the Christmas season. Some of her most special moments were spent with lifelong friends and the family.

She is survived by her children and spouses: Arthur Eric, Jr. and Cari-Ann Christensen of Guilford, Kimberly Lakin of South New Berlin, Scott and Tammy Seward of Mt. Upton, Melissa and William Strong of South New Berlin and Leif Christensen and Annie Finch of Gilbertsville.


She is survived as well by thirteen grandchildren: Anika and Tait Christensen, Hunter, Sydney and Morgan Lakin, Mariah, Chelsea and Brandon Seward, Shelbi Stewart, Kacey and Taylor Strong, Landyn and Olivia Christensen. In addition she is survived by her three siblings and their spouses: Ann and Bill Ostrander of Unadilla, Sharon Crisell and Joe Moore of Sidney, Roy and Anna Seward of Binghamton. e

She is predeceased by her husband Arthur, and brother Victor.

Burial in North Guilford Cemetery.
