Susan Marie Ferreira passed away on Tuesday after a long illness. She touched many lives with her personal strength and loving spirit.
Susan was born in Richmond, CA and attended Pinole Valley High School. Prior to her illness, Susan worked as a cosmetologist for many years in the local area and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Susan is survived by her loving mother Joanne Hickok of Richmond, CA, devoted children Kimberly Marweg of Rodeo, CA and Jonathan Ferreira of Pinole, CA, brother Chris Hickok and sister-in-law Eva Hickok of Thousand Oaks, CA, nephews Steven Hickok of Blacksburg, VA, Benjamin Hickok of Lander, WY, and niece Eva Lorraine Hickok of Thousand Oaks, CA. Susan joins her father Curtis Hickok in heaven. Her generous and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Aged 56 years.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and a funeral service on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of the Mission Bells, 13644 San Pablo Avenue in San Pablo. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memorial Park.
