Mrs Nancy E. Gasaway, wife of T. P. Gasaway, died at 3 o'clock Sunday morning at the family home in Latham. She would have been sixty-three years old in October. Her death was caused by cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs Gasaway's maiden name was Nancy Allison. She was born in Latham. Oct. 28, 1866, and all her life had been spent in that community. She and T.P. Gasaway were married March 21, 1886. She was prominent in the Pythian Sisters. She was known to everybody in the community and had many friends. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Louis Reiterman of Latham. There is one grandchild. She also leaves two sisters: Mrs. Cynthia Emerick and Mrs. Maria Thompson, both of Latham. Another sister, Aquilla Allison preceded her in death. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence, conducted by Rev. Ernest Campbell, assisted by Rev. Raymond McAllister. The burial will be in Lake Bank cemetery.
