When Freda passed away, she was Putnam County's oldest resident at age 106. She married a Methodist Minister, Harold Hampton Rinehart and they raised six children in Poca, WV. She had appeared on television several times and had received letters of commendation from President Clinton and the Mayor of Hurricane, WV.

After suffering a broken hip, she spent the last nine years of her life in the Teays Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of the Poca United Methodist Church. At the time of her death, there were four surviving children: Euna R. Anderson, Harold Rinehart, E. Ray Rinehart and Orris Rinehart.

Her husband, Minister Harold Hampton Rinehart who died Sept. 27, 1951 is buried in the Lower Fink Cemetery, Calhoun County, WV.
