MRS. JOSIE IRENE GOSSARD, widow of the late J. T. Gossard, died Saturday at 1:30 pm, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Davis, in Williamsport, after a lingering illness, aged 76 years.
She is survived by sons and daughters; Albert and Clarence, Hagerstown; Sanford, of near Williamsport; Mrs. Harry Davis, Williamsport; Mrs. W. L. Nalley, Halfway; two brothers, Harry Barnes, Tiffin, Ohio; and Clem Barnes, Sandusky, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Shenebeck, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Elizabeth Forsythe, Dry Run; also 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Tuesday, meeting at the home at 2 pm, with services in the U.B. Church of Williamsport, of which deceased was a lifelong member; Rev. N.S.B. Thomas officiating. Burial in River View Cemetery.
