Henroid, Catherine M. (nee Hummel) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Melvin and son Richard on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the age of 96. Loving mother of Carl (Pamela) Henroid; grandmother of Steve (Kelly) Henroid and Paul Henroid; loving great-grandmother of Haley and Hanna Henroid. She was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Lena Henroid, husband Melvin Henroid, son Richard Henroid and 3 sisters. Catherine will be remembered for her gentile kind ways and her compassion for others. Services: Visitation for family at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Wednesday, August 20, 8:15 am to 9:45 a.m. then to Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church (6741 South Rock Hill Road, 63123) for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Road followed by a reception at her son Carl's home; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name to Habitat for Humanity, 3763 Forest Park Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108 would be greatly appreciated.
