Mrs. Lucy C. Huston was born in Collins, Erie County, N.Y., October 2, 1832. She moved with her parents to Greenwich, Huron county, O., where her young woman-hood was passed until her marriage with Ira G. Eddy, on November 29th, 1855. They resided at Ripley, O. for some time, where their daughter, M. Ardell, was born. In 1866, they moved to Elsie, Mich., where she lived until her death, January 9, 1917, at 84 years 3 months, and 7 days. Mr. Eddy preceded her to the better world twenty two years ago. She was a member of the M. E. church for many years. She was also a charter member of the Eastern Star lodge no. 69 of Elsie. She leaves to mourn their loss, the daughter, Mrs. Ardell Finch, two grandsons, Glenn Finch of Grand Rapids and Sealy Finch of Chicago and two great grandsons, Donald, son of Glenn, and Ira. She was a kind and loving mother, a good neighbor and will be greatly missed by her family and a large circle of friends and relatives.

Lucy Hustin Eddy was the daughter of Deborah Gifford and David Hustin.
