Charles F. Asper, 87, Aspers, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Ernst in Aspers.

A native and lifelong resident of Adams County, he was the son of the late Frederick and Sarah Eppleman Asper.

Besides Mrs. Ernst, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Russell Ernst of Hanover; two sons, Maynard E. Asper, Harrisburg, and William F. Asper, Hanover R.4; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Snyder, Carlisle, and Mrs. Robert Hawbaker, Camp Hill.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville with the Rev. Dr. O.D. Coble officiating. Burial will be in Bendersville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dugan Funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
