Obituary:

Walter Adami, 90, died Monday, November 21, 2005 in Plano, Texas. He was born March 26, 1915 in Winters and was a lifetime resident.

He graduated from Winters High School in 1933 and attended Abilene Christian University. He married Cecil Dean in Winters and she preceded him in death June 29, 1997. He later married Irene Bartz March 25, 1999 in Coleman.

He was a farmer and a rancher and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ballinger. Walter was known to many and loved by everyone.

He is survived by: his wife, Irene Adami of Winters; two sons, Bernard Adami of Garland, and Howard Adami of Arlington; one daughter, Louise Burleson of Arlington; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2005 in the Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ballinger with Rev. Louis Moeller officiating. Burial will be in the Adami family cemetery in Winters (later relocated to Crews Cemetery) under the direction of the Winters Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities.

Pallbearers are: Phil Dooley, James Keel, James Burleson, Michael Burleson, Jevan Adami, Zak Adami.

Honorary pallbearers are: E.E. Brown, Howard Pruser, Charles Bahlman, Fred Cortez, James Brown, Jessie Bailey.
