Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, July 29, at St. Francis Catholic Church.
Gloria was born January 5, 1925, in Brainerd to Ernest and Bernice (Doty) Norman. She graduated from Crosby High School in 1943 and married Oliver Halonen in 1944. They lived in the Nashwauk area for many years. Oliver died in 1964 and she returned to Brainerd in 1966. She married Warren Esler in 1974; Warren died in 1989. Gloria worked as a bookkeeper for Crow Wing County and was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Oliver and Warren; three brothers; and three sisters.
